AJS will ship Priority mail United States Post office with insurance
and signature required for delivery. AJS will use FED-X Ground or registered
mail based on item value. FED-X express available for an additional
charge, please call AJS. Once you sign for an item you are responsible
for any damage, loss, or theft.
Repair - Warranty
Our repair warranty policy is in effect for 30 days from date of
AJS shipment. Items sold by AJS will be repaired or replaced at no cost
other than return postage to AJS, after obtaining a RMA, and AJS has
determined if damage was due to workmanship or manufacturing defect.
Repairs outside of the Warranty will be quoted to customers before repairs
are preformed. This warranty does not apply to theft, loss or damage.
Once a customer signs for a item they are responsible for the item.
AJS encourages customers to insure all jewelry in case of theft, loss
or damage.
Money Back Guarantee
Pendants, bracelets, earrings, body jewelry, novelty items that are
not custom made will receive a full refund, less shipping. Also a full refund will
be made for all items sold by AJS that do not meet invoice specifications
in silver or gold content, pearl grade, diamond or gem grading specifications.
Standard jewelry industry tolerances apply to this guarantee. This Guarantee
does not apply to theft, loss or damage.
Privacy
AJS respects your privacy and wants to assure you that information
collected is never shared or sold to any other organization or 3rd party
for commercial purposes. The information we collect is used strictly
for AJS purposes involving ordering and shipping of merchandise. You
have the option of receiving any advertising or marketing promotions
from us. AJS does not use Spam.

Security
Pay Pal on line shopping cart is available for all orders. Telephone
orders call 703-698-8016. Please do not use e-mail, it is not secure.
We use high encryption to securely process your credit card purchases
with our merchant credit card company. Once all your orders are process
we destroy all credit card information.
Special Orders
Special or custom orders are items that are made to order or not standard
with a particular manufacture or items that require modification after
they leave a manufacturing facility. Modifications include finishing,
mounting, and sizing. All special or custom items sold by AJS will be
clearly noted. Special, custom. and especially made for you items are
non refundable. AJS does guarantee every mounting to be of the highest
standard with securely set stones. If your setting does not meet these
standards it will be remanufactured in the same design. To receive a
refund some items can be sent to you in standard sizes, metals, grades,
and then returned for assembly after your approval. Orders then become
a special or custom orders. AJS resizing and assembly is available at
reasonable prices plus shipping. If you prefer rings can be taken to
a local jeweler for assembly and resizing. Depending on the piece special
or custom orders can take an additional 3 days to 4 weeks to process
and ship.
Billing
In stock items will ship within 24 hours when a credit card is used.
All other items ordered by credit cards will typically ship within 3
to 10 working days and custom hand made items within 4 weeks. For orders
paid by check we will not place orders to our suppliers until your check
clears our bank typically 10 days. This could add another 10 working
days before shipment. AJS will make every attempt to notify you of the
status of your order. AJS does not take COD for internet mail
order purchases. Your phone orders by credit card will be authorize
the day you order. PayPal or custom or special orders will be charged
when ordered. Refunds will be made for the amount AJS charged to your
credit card minus shipping and insurance within 48 hours after receipt
of returned merchandise (see return policies.)
General Return Policy
All items must be received by AJS 15 calendar days from date
of shipment from AJS. Call AJS immediately if there is a discrepancy
in your order. All items must have a return authorization number
(RMA) before returning. Customer will pay return shipping, insurance,
and signature required charges. Shipping & insurance incurred by AJS
will not be refunded. Special orders, custom made, sized rings, mounted
gems, are non refundable sales and have a 30 warranty on workmanship
only. To prevent damage all items must be shipped in the same type box
and packing material as received along with a copy of the sales receipt.
Items must be in new condition not worn for refund. See diamond & Gem
policy for additional details.
Damaged, altered returns
Altered, damaged, worn, items will not be refunded and will be returned
to customer without a refund. AJS has on file all gems shipped with
photos and gemological report. Our graduate gemologist (GIA) will inspect
each piece returned.
Diamond and Gem Return Policy
To give you low prices on gems we do not stock large diamonds or
large fine quality gems. When requested AJS will email you certifications
before shipping. Your credit card will be charged when shipped. AJS
only has a short period of time to return gems to our suppliers before
being charged. There for loose gems have a 2-day inspection period after
you sign for delivery. You need to call and confirm your decision to
buy or return. If the returning gem is not received within 7 working
days after your have signed for delivery you will not receive a refund.
AJS inspects by lab testing all gems before shipment to you. This includes
keeping on file a copy of all gem certifications. Special or custom
made settings containing diamonds or color gems are non refundable.

Policy
Rings that require mounting or sizing will not be mounted or sized
in order for you to receive a refund. AJS only has a short period
of time to return items to our suppliers before being charged. There
for to obtain a refund for items that contain gems you have a 1-day
inspection period after you sign for delivery. We must receive your
set back within 3-5 working days from the time you sign for the item
for a refund. Each piece will be in a separate container for your
inspection. If you approve send back the items to be resized and mounted
(see repair - warranty.) The customer is responsible for return postage
and insurance. We are not responsible for items lost in shipment.
Taxes
AJS is a registered Virginia company and by law will add a 5% Virginia
state sales tax to all in state sales.
